Winston has just announced two new additions to their product line: The Nexus rod series, which are all graphite rods hitting the sub-$500 price point (MSRP starts at $475) with models ranging from 3 to 12 weight; and the BIII TH-MS series of rods, which is a new Boron series in the BIII line of rods. (The TH-MS stands for Two-Hand Microspey.)
My guess is dry fly fishermen will likely be more interested in the Nexus series, but perhaps you prefer to go for drag free drifting using a long rod, and think the Microspey will fit the bill perfectly. In either case, it will be interesting to see what kind of response these new rods receive.
Currently the Winston website doesn’t list these rods, but that will likely change in the near future, and we’ll see if other rods (GVX?) go by the way side.

I have not had the pleasure of personally handling any rod from either of these series, but perhaps in the near future that will change and I’ll report back on them. In the mean time, feel free to offer your own opinions below.
